Billie Eilish Says She's Finished a New Album During COVID Lockdown
Billie Eilish is about to take us into her process with the documentary film The World's a Little Blurry, but as with everyone else, her process has already evolved thanks to COVID-19. In fact, the artist explains she has written and recorded an entire new album in quarantine.

"I don't think I would've made the same album, or even the album at all, if it weren't for COVID," she said in a new interview with Stephen Colbert. "That doesn't mean it's about COVID at all, it's just that, when things are different in your life, you're different. That's just how it is. So, I have to thank COVID for that, and that's about it."

She didn't say much else about the album, though she did vaguely hype up her own vocal performance, saying, "There's a couple of moments on this album where I pull some tricks out. It's really just about what I feel like sounds good."

The World's a Little Blurry, directed by R.J. Cutler, is set to arrive in theatres and on Apple TV+ this Friday (February 26).
